"I always draw by hand, and spontaneously. Let my hand float across the paper to make a discovery and surprise myself. Often, the result turns out completely different than expected. Like with KAJSAMIA. It’s a bold, graphic pattern in Scandinavian style – and it really makes a statement. The subject is a tree with a strong character – I think of it as a person standing tall, proud and brave, with its head held high. Maybe it could even become a classic one day. The curtains look great in front of the window, or as a room divider or fabric door."
