Smells awful...Paige111Bought for my 8-month baby. Had to wait for around one month, but the smell is still there.1
CeeJay79It’s great for our 100 lb daughter, but with no springs, will will likely be needing a new mattress in a year or two. There is not much support.3
Bertz 1My son seems to enjoy..no complaints4
Mattress topper0085I bought this topper four months ago and I really love it4
Not comfortableFSM1I bought it three weeks ago for my new college apartment because it was the cheapest option. Bad idea! I bought it before getting a bed so it was on the floor for a while. I would have lower back pain during the night and in the morningt. I ended up buying a thicker and less firm one. I did not try it before because the IKEA is far from my home. If you just need a mattress and I are really thignt on the budget go for it. Otherwise get a better one.3
Incredibly uncomfortable & thinRachelle4I wish I would have know about Ikea’s 365 day return policy when we bought two of these for our toddlers, I would have taken them up on that for sure. You feel the slats with these mattresses and though there aren’t complaints from our 3 year olds, we often have to sleep with them and they kill me. Every time I’m messed up for a few days after. Definitely better to spend the extra money and get something thicker. We’ve been toughing it out but unfortunately are in the market for new mattresses soon.1
MattressScotianZQuite thin but is ok for top bunk that isn't used much. If you want comfort, buy 2.3
Foam mattressMark2020Bought this item a few months ago for my daughter. She is very happy with it.5
Mitsuo501Great for the bunk bed I bought from IKEA.5

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.
