Great baking supply containerTammeaI have been slowly changing over all my baking supplies to these containers. I chose this one for sugar. The lid is secure and the clear glass shows the level of what it contains. I have the larger one for flour and for oats. I still use a plastic container for brown sugar as I’m not sure if this is secure enough to maintain the integrity of the brown sugar.5

Good size and great in my laundryJossI love that these are glass! I use a few in my laundry room, to keep loose powders like borax, extra whitening detergent and specialty capsules. The lid fits nicely enough to keep the items inside, but not so tight that it's a strain to remove the top for access. If you put them on a high shelf. don't expect the lid to stay tight if you are taking them down and tilting them in the process! I can think of loads of uses for these, so will probably buy more.5
