Product details

Great value for money and guaranteed to outlast at least 10 years of everyday use. Read about the terms in the guarantee brochure.

The dark wooden expression with visible grain pattern creates a warm, tactile feeling. It makes a statement but is easy to combine with other furniture in the room.

The drawers are protected from water damage thanks to a smart production technique. Foil is wrapped vertically around the particleboard so there are no unprotected edges where water can penetrate.

Cleaning the floor is a breeze since this solution is wall mounted and there are no legs that get in the way.

The smooth-running drawers with pull-out stop, open all the way for a good overview without falling out.

You can sense the calm every time you close the drawers thanks to the soft-closing mechanism. No worries about fingers getting trapped.

The deep bottom drawer has space for larger things like towels and hairdryer. The top drawer is suitable for smaller items like brushes, creams, sprays and accessories.

You can make good use of the space inside the drawers thanks to the smart design of the water trap that leads the piping into the far back of the cabinet.

The simple construction makes the drawers easy to assemble.

Smooth, durable and easy-to-clean ceramic sink with space for toothbrushes, soap dispenser and other smaller things on the wide edges.

You save water and energy every time you lift the lever of the faucet thanks to the aerator device that prevents unnecessary use of water.

Very Sleek and ElegantANNAI installed this in our powder room and it looks aw5

Great vanity. Love the factSukhdipGreat vanity. Love the fact that it is wall mounted.5
The countertop scratches easily andMishaThe countertop scratches easily and leaves grey/black marks. The tap stains easily and the shape of the sink is so shallow that water always spills out. The vanity was also very difficult to assemble and holes were not completely provided which required us to use a drill do assemble it (which caused one piece to also crack). Do not buy, Ikea quality has gone down and their customer service and policies are so poor, you have to drive all the way back to the store to get any help.1
Overall very happy with this vanityJuliyEasy to assemble Good look and quality5
Great vanity, needs better dividersLowell P.We love the minimalist look and glossy finish of this vanity. The dividers, however, are too loose and don't easily stay in one place. We had to glue the little plastic stands that should securely snap in place. I love that Ikea makes 2 completely useful drawers and a shallow sink, so you get a lot of useful space. You will need 13" of depth clearance inside for the drawers, however. We had to cut back the wall drain pipe 1" and put a new fitting on it so the drawer would close. It's worth it to get so much usable space. We also got the two front legs as I wanted to be sure that if someone sat on it, it was secure. Also, pre-drill the two holes for each drawer bottom when you assemble them. Our first one cracked, as I assumed Ikea already pre-drilled holes (they usually do). One final thing; the drawer bottom leaves a gap near the front face of the drawer. I was a bit disappointed, as Ikea is usually really attentive in things like this. We had to add a bracket underneath.4
Always love the storage theseJoanAlways love the storage these vanities provide!5
GodmorgonSherronI love our sinks. The only situation we ran into was the plumbing. The sink would work better if it wasn't as narrow.4

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA we believe that sourced in a responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
