Great sink for this price pointThe sink is beautiful! Great price point and definitely serves its purpose well. We haven't had any chipping or cracks, and seems to be wearing well 2 years in. It does mark, especially from cast iron, and the occasional scratch from other pots and pans too.
The only thing we wish it had was a metal sink protector to fit the bottom - it's impossible to find one to suit this sink with a spot for the drain in the correct spot.
All around, great sink!

Beautiful NightmareI love this sink, it's an absolute show stopper. It really *makes* my kitchen. I agree with the other reviewers and have found the cleaning to be bothersome (only on the grooves on the top/back of the sink) but haven't found any staining or marking. My problem with this sink is that I have a CRACK! I don't even wash dishes in this sink (it holds them until they make it to the dishwasher). I'm dreading having it uninstalled so soon after purchase (less than 1 year) and having to reinstall another one - if IKEA even covers cracks/dents. If they don't this review will head in a much different direction :( Very upset with it's lack of durability.

Difficile à laver et se brise facilementC'est très difficile de laver le derrière de l'évier, avec le relief, c'est toujours sale et taché. Le fond de l'évier se dégrade très rapidement, il faudrait une grille pour protéger le fond.

Wouldn't buy againI coveted this sink for YEARS. I visited the mock kitchen it lived in every time I went to IKEA. Eventually, I renovated and it came home with me. While it is a gorgeous sink, and I love the size of the basins, it scratched/discoloured very easily. And as others have mentioned, those grooves at the top are a huge pain to clean out. I have a pull out faucet too, which helps, but it is still almost impossible to wipe even soap residue/dust from the grooves. After only 3 months, I was over this sink. Luckily my house just sold (I'm sure the new owners loved the look of the sink, but they'll tire of the cleaning). Me, I'm looking at the single basin apron front at IKEA for next time - with the flat surface.

Cracked two, on my third one - HopefulHi everyone, I have to comment - I had TWO Domsjo sinks crack. (Double 36 inch). The first crack appeared randomly at the bottom right corner, about 5 inches and a hairline one month into use. I did absolutely nothing to create this and was mortified. Luckily after the heavy lifting - 1,5 drive to IKEA they did replace it. Second sink arrived, boom one week in and I suddenly had a massive crack from the faucet to the right sink drain hole. My heart sunk. We really think we did not over-thighten this faucet (we think, but I suppose that area is very thin and very delicate). Today we got our third sink. I love the look and size of this sink and we designed our kitchen specifically for this to be main view... I am terrified that it will crack again. I am happy to know I am not the only one (going online I found others). I have to say, that this new sink we received today has a minor imperfection (read crack) on the other side/facing the cupboard). What to do, Ikea is 1,5 hrs driving and I do not want to lift this heavy beast one more time. I hope we are lucky now, I am going to continue to be extremely careful when I use it. Which is a shame because it is a sink, and a sink should be able to handle some beating (you know, dishes etc). Thanks for reading my blurb, not sure if I would recommend this sink to anyone... PS, yes scratches very easily - but you can clean it, I always use a bottom protector which I bought at Canadian Tire.

Love the sinkHave had this sink for 5 years, with no issues, and looks phenomenal on our Ikea cabinets. Yes slight dark scratches do appear when the liners are not in the sink, but very easy to get rid of using glass stove top cleaner. Actually buying another one to be installed in our covered , outdoor cooking center.
