Indispensable!J’en ai acheté une deuxième pour ma salle de couture et je pense en acheter une troisième pour faire mes casse-têtes. La mettre à la hauteur qui me convient est très pratique et rend n’importe quelle tâche plus facile.

perfect for people tired of sitting desk workBought it a week ago. Super easy to put together.
As a person who works with computers, I cannot stand the thought of sitting anymore. I was looking at "on-desk" contraptions that move up and down, but.... the aesthetically challenged designs and mind-boggling prices (as much as this desk, or higher) ... This desk, on the contrary, looks simple and clean, has a lot of room to support two monitors and a laptop (the larger-size desk would be an overkill), and oh such a relief to finally be able to work in a standing position.

Really my only complaint about this desk is the lack of color choice but I'm sure you could use another desk top if you were a bit creative.
Cranking the desk up and down is smooth and fairly easy though I usually just leave it in the standing position. Unlike the Bekant series desk legs (which look similar) the Skarsta is very solid and doesn't wobble even at the highest position. Cranking it up and down you do get a bit of wobble but that is to be expected - just make sure you move any drinks before you start the raising and lowering process.

Simply the bestBought only the base and choosed my own top. You can hack this base to fit whatever you want. Very stable, very good quality! Is takes 26 secondes from the upper position to the lower position.
The mecanism is very simple... don't spend your money on the electrical one... exercice your arm for 300$...

The best out thereIKEA was the last place I looked for a healthy desk. And what a find!
I have been researching a Sit-standup desk for a year: there are too many options coming out, mainly companies copying each other. Should I get the desk-riser or the long-legged desk like SJARSTA? The legless version averaged at around $500-$800. Amazon had the best prices although ERGOTRON in Aylmer, PQ made me offered a "buy-now" discount that I turned down. The floor version started at around 600 and went as high as $900 Canadian. Being a dude and a techy at that I preferred the leggy version with buttons I can control.
Then I met this lass at Workspaces in IKEA. She actually asked me questions. She was interested in the client and she knew the answers. Why buy the electrical version when I was buying it for health purposes, she queried. She was superb! I wanted to take *her* home.
I bought the table top for $60 and the SKARSTA legs from the AS_IS for $60 (no warranty). Yes, $120 for the whole thing. The legs were brand new. Assembly was 15 minutes of effort but it took me 15 minutes more to interpret the IKEA hieroglyphics. But this thing is very well designed, my ultrawide monitors hardly wobble when the table's moving. The movement is gentle and noiseless. There is plenty of place for 2 UltraWide's. 3 24-inch monitors can squeeze comfortably. The table top seems to be MDF and came only in egg-white, but it's very well designed: right-angled corners and chambered edges. The steel legs are heavy and well painted.
The only 2 tiny complaints I have: the handle for raising this is kind of flimsy: not when you're turning it but when you're pushing it into or out from it's resting place. The turning shaft is probably aluminium and the thin black paint quickly came off in places. Get this thing while you've the best standing offer in town.

Wife was trilled and completely satisfied! This is a great product. The 120cm desk is definitely large enough to comfortably fit a laptop, 21inch monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The base is sturdy and the hand crank is very smooth and doesn't require much effort. It doesn't take much time to transition between sitting and standing. This product is overpriced in my opinion (hence the 4/5 stars) but there are few options under 300. However, this is much better than strange contraptions that you place on top of a desk to make it a standing desk.
