Product description
100 % cotton
People and planet
Renewable material (cotton).
Check for recycling in your area.
All the cotton in our products comes from more sustainable sources. This means that the cotton is either recycled, or grown with less water, less fertilizers and less pesticides, while increasing profit margins for the farmers.

Curl up with 100% ramie
Ramie is a natural fiber that comes from the ramie plant. It’s a durable, renewable material that is ideal to use in cushion covers like DORTHY, which is made of 100% ramie. Similar to linen, it is highly absorbent and breathes well, making it the perfect sofa companion.
Designer thoughts
Designer Lisel Garsveden
"I've always been interested in plants and gardening. That’s why it was especially fun to create naturalistic patterns for DORTHY and SISSELA textiles. The challenge with the main pattern was to find a color scheme that would make the illustrations appear clear and beautiful. For the graphic pattern, I simply transferred the pencil drawings to the fabric. I hope that both will go well with the other things in your home and maybe even inspire you to take up gardening yourself."
