“We find inspiration all around us, in a greenhouse, a hen house – or at a train station in London. For FJELL, we found ideas in the things we have in our own workshop and garden – old things made of honest materials that speak to all the senses. That’s also why FJELL is made of solid wood with a grain that you can feel and with fixtures that look like old locks on barn doors. That makes the bedroom series very rustic, functional and standing with both feet planted firmly on the ground. A bit like a typical Scandinavian.”
