"It was an exciting challenge to create a unique new design of this type of layer-molded chair. I wanted GILBERT to be both simple and elegant, but practical too. The result is a smart two-piece construction that allows the back to flex independently, instead of the entire chair moving. I also made it stackable so you can fit many chairs on a small space, because this is the chair that will make you want to throw a party!"
