This storage system allows you to frame your cherished items on open shelves and store things you want to keep out of sight but within easy reach behind doors.

Choose the width to suit your need and space – and then mount and anchor your personal storage solution directly to the wall.

Easy to coordinate with other furnishings and various styles thanks to its timeless design with a light and airy look.

The side and middle panels have cut-outs for a skirting board.

The shelves are a bit shallower than the side and middle panels to allow for cable management at the back.

The open back allows you to highlight the wall’s finish, whether it’s vibrant wallpaper or a beautiful painted colour.

StunningAnonymous reviewerWhilst the open back design does require these to be drilled into the walled, the final result is absolutely stunning and totally worth the extra 30 mins of measuring and drilling. Couldn’t be happier with these for the price, really taken our living room to the next level!5
Aesthetically pleasing but slightly impracticalAnonymous reviewerAs other review suggests, it really needs to be fixed to the wall. No issues, I thought. When sitting flush against the wall, it gives a pleasing aesthetic. As such, I noted that there is not a lot of clearance between the shelves and the wall. Again, no issue, I thought. I ensured that large sockets were situated in position before fully assembling. I retrospectively attempted to run some small cables (with a 1cm connector) behind the shelf. To my surprise, there was insufficient clearance to allow this. It makes it quite impractical to now have to unscrew four screws from the wall to run two cables behind a shelf.3
Sturdy, typical MDF built IKEA product, but unstable unless fixed to a wallAnonymous reviewerItem typical of IKEA units: well made laminated MDF of good thickness. It has skirting board cut outs, which is fine if you live in a modern house with 3” skirting boards, but ours are 6”, which pushes the unit further away from the wall-so for us it would be better without the cut out. Please be aware that the unit is NOT stable unless it’s fixed to a wall, which we can’t do for a variety of reasons e.g., through a picture rail. Design build OK, but recommend you read the online build instruction manual (if attempting it yourself) before purchasing as you need to provide your own screws for fixing it to the wall (understandable as there are different surfaces, but might be difficult for some) and some tools. Another way of stabilising the unit to make it free standing would have been preferred: otherwise we could have bought a Billy or PAX and left the back off, for all the difference in stability it would make. We’ll try and make it work, but may end up returning it.3
