Slightly Tricky AssemblyAnonymous reviewerThe angled screws for the lower runners are difficult to screw in because the uprights don't have pilot holes to guide you and make the screws easier to start. A shallow 3mm diameter hole for each screw would help to start their installation without compromising the strength of the completed chair.4

Very Difficult assembly & not whiteAnonymous reviewerI’ve had many things from ikea over many years of diy. And I’ve been happy with all of them! These stools had very few parts. Sounded easy! The screws that were provided rounded off within seconds of trying to screw in. Tried manually couldn’t turn the screws and kept taking them back out & trying again . Tried electric screwdriver wouldn’t even turn them. I had to drill holes in the stools to get screws in. At one point I went right through the front of stool with the drill! My hands were really in pain by the end of it! Also I put them next to a white kitchen island, be aware these are not pure white they are off white. I am very unhappy with them. 1

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

Function solution

Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.
