    Sometimes the mattress has a noticeable smell when you open the packaging. The smell isn’t harmful or toxic and disappears over time. Airing and vacuuming the mattress helps to eliminate the smell faster.

    All of our mattresses can be used immediately, but keep in mind that a packaged mattress only regains its full shape and comfort after approximately 72 hours. Your body also needs a couple of weeks to adapt to the new mattress.

Not good at allSoNeilUnfortunately this mattress did not live up to expectation and the springs have sunk on the sides and made a massive bump in the middle after 10months of use. I went into store to discuss a return with receipt ( as I was told to keep this for guarantee) and have been told to contact someone to come and inspect it at home. I have managed to roll it up as we cannot sleep on it anymore as it is too uncomfortable. Customer service in store wasn’t great either, it’s not very clear about the procedure at all.1

I thought it was firm the first night I had it at home, but gave it a chance. A month in, it's still terribly firm, my back is aching and I have knots in my neck and shoulders. I can feel every coil in the mattress. Worst purchase ever. Bought a mattress topper to compensate for the firmness and coils, but it's throwing good money after bad. I want to return it and buy a mattress elsewhere but since I've used it, I have to get another - more expensive Ikea mattress. I don't want to do that since the experience I had in store vs home was so different. Is there any way I can get a refund for this monstrosity of a mattress?1
