Designer thoughts
"When I designed NORRNÄS I wanted to create a chair with the distinct qualities of traditional, Scandinavian furniture. The style is straight and simple, without ornamentation, and the chair is comfortable with its high, curved back and padded seat. In that way, it really encourages people to spend a long time socialising around the dinner table. Hopefully, in its own quiet way, it can make life a little nicer - and more pleasant."
