When will I receive my ordered spare parts?
Have you ordered parts for an IKEA product online or with an IKEA employee that will be delivered to your home? Small parts, such as screws, will be delivered within 5 working days. Larger parts, such as shelves, are often delivered after 1 or 2 weeks.
When placing an order forspare parts, you will receive an order number. This order number is different from an order number you receive when placing an order at IKEA.nl. You can usually recognize this number by the letters AS. This order number can help you track the delivery of the parts.
Small parts, such as screws, are sent by regular mail and therefore cannot be tracked. Larger parts are sent by parcel delivery and are generally delivered by DHL. A few days after ordering, you will receive an email from DHL international parcel post with the possibility to track your delivery.
Why does it take so long to receive my parts?
IKEA has various warehouses across Europe from where parts are sent. These are all located outside the Netherlands, which is why sending parts takes a little longer.

In addition, in our IKEA stores, with the exception of IKEA Amsterdam, Duiven and Delft, you will find a self-service spare parts wall at the customer service desk with the most commonly used small parts that you can select and take home yourself.
