Safety warning and recall – IKEA urges all customers who have a pink, beige, blue or green TROLIGTVIS travel mug to stop using it and return the product to any IKEA store for a full refund. It concerns the article numbers 004.433.28 - 504.124.47 - 204.291.85 and 004.291.86. The recall only concerns the travel mugs produced in India. Underneath the mug this is marked with the text ‘Made in India.’
Recent test reports show that the product may have levels of Dibuthyl phthalate (DBP) exceeding the prescribed limits. After receiving the test results, IKEA directly stopped sales of the travel mug worldwide.
No proof of purchase, such as a receipt, is required. Safety is a top priority for IKEA. Therefore IKEA has decided to recall this product.

Important safety warning and recall children’s bib MATVRÅ, Blue/Red 2-pack
Safety warning and recall - IKEA urges all customers that have purchased the bib MATVRÅ (blue/red 2-pack article number 504.269.20), to stop using it.
IKEA takes product safety very seriously. All our products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation. In spite of this we have received reports that the button on the MATVRÅ can come off and thus presents a choking hazard.
IKEA urges all customers to return the product to IKEA for a full refund or a similar product. A proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.
In september 2019 it has come to our attention that there is a risk for the button to come off if the child pulls at it. The safety of customers is a top priority for IKEA, which is why we choose to recall the children’s bib MATVRÅ Blue/Red 2-pack, as a precautionary measure.

Did you buy a HEMNES before 2017?
The HEMNES bookcase and glass-door cabinets are made of solid wood, designed to last and keep their place in the home of IKEA customers for a long time. Lately we have learned that the wooden shelves can shrink and move due to dry indoor climate. This could lead to the shelves coming down. IKEA is now offering a simple solution as a service free of charge. All customers that owns a HEMNES manufactured before 2017, are welcome to order longer replacement pins by contacting your closest store or customer support center.

SUNDVIK changing table/chest
Safety warning - IKEA askes all customers that have a SUNDVIK changing table/chest of drawer to secure the folding part with the safety locking fittings provided. If lost or misplaced, please contact IKEA to receive new ones free of charge.
IKEA has received three reports of incidents where the foldable part has come loose, and children have fallen off the changing table. In the reports IKEA has seen that customers tend to use SUNDVIK changing table/chest as an everyday folding changing table, and that they don’t use the safety locking fittings according to instructions. The intended use is for changing diapers on small children. Its second life is as storage furniture.
Safe products are always top priority. As a precautionary measure IKEA announces a repair service action. All customers that have a SUNDVIK changing table/chest and that have misplaced or lost the safety locking fittings, are asked to call IKEA to receive new fittings free of charge. Customers will not have to provide any proof of purchase, such as a receipt.

If furniture tips over it can cause serious injury. Accidents can especially but children at risk. The best way to help prevent furniture tip-over accidents is to secure furniture to the wall. IKEA urges customers to inspect their IKEA chests of drawers and dressers to ensure that they are securely anchored to the wall using the restraints provided in the packaging.
Should you need a replacement restraint kit to secure the IKEA furniture in your home, you can fill in the form of the customer service. We will need an article number of the product. In case you don’t have the article number, a product name can be enough. You can also pick up the material at customer service in the store.
Tips to prevent furniture tip-over accidents
Secure it! Furniture must be securely attached to the wall. Use the tip-over restraint provided with the product and the right hardware for your wall type. Consult our wall anchoring guide for help. Never put a TV or other heavy objects on top of a chest of drawers or any furniture not intended for use with a TV. Place heavy objects in the lowest drawers. Never let children climb or hang on drawers, doors or shelves.

Food safety is a top priority at IKEA and we want to make customers aware that SÖTSAK SKUMTOPP pastries with best before dates between 2019-03-12 and 2019-04-18 are affected by this recall. Customers allergic or intolerant to milk or milk constituents are advised to return SÖTSAK SKUMTOPP to the nearest IKEA store for a full refund.
Customers should always feel confident that food products sold and served at IKEA are safe and healthy to consume. IKEA recalls SÖTSAK SKUMTOPP, soft marshmallow pastry, 180g, due to unclear declaration of the allergen milk in the list of ingredients.
