Returns and exchanges

Not satisfied with your purchase? You have 365 days to return or exchange your products. As a IKEA Family member you can return or exchange products unlimited. Returns and exchanges are possible at all IKEA stores and online.

Want to return or exchange something in the store?The customer service in our stores is open again. Please register your return with the Express returns form, in that way we can help you quickly.

For IKEA Breda, IKEA Barendrecht and IKEA Delft, you need to make a customer service appointment and register your return beforehand.

You need to bring the following with you when returning an item:

  • The unused items in their original packaging
  • The receipt or other proof of payment

Unfortunately, items from the bargain corner, custom-made products and mattresses that have been removed from the original packaging cannot be exchanged or returned. Read more about our guarantee policy and terms and conditions.

Express returns

Make a customer service appointment and register your return beforehand, and we’ll be able to help you return faster at the IKEA store. Use this form and use the desk for Express returns at the store. Use of Express Return is possible when:

  • It's an order with a maximum of 5 products
  • The products are undamaged and in the packaging
  • You can hand over the receipt

Parcel returns

Was your order delivered by parcel and would you like to return it? After completing and submitting the form, you'll receive a return label and be able to return the parcel to IKEA.

It costs 2.99 or 9.99 to return products in a parcel, depending on the parcel.

Returns by truck

Was your order delivered by truck? If so, register the return items by contacting our Customer Service.

It costs 49.- to return products by truck.
