    Ikea gets worse every yearAnonymous reviewerI purchased the same set of pillows in 2024. As a front sleeper, they were perfect. Bought again in 2026 and I wake up with a neck pain every day. The filling is different, it sags in the middle, and clearly not the same product. It’s cheap because it’s all polyester but the last set worked great. This time it’s cheap and Ikea went cheaper. Trashing.1

One is too high and the other is too soft , in fact the soft one is just full of soft loose balls inside . Wanted them for a guest, who likes soft pillows, but neither of these is any good. Luckily they didn’t cost the earth. I noticed that one is made in Bulgaria and the other in Romania. Perhaps that’s why they’re so different. 2

    How to care for your polyester pillow

    With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester pillow and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on a delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester pillows can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your pillow regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
