Use throughout the home, as a standalone or with other VIHALS furniture.
The 37 cm depth means that the sideboard easily fits even in tight spaces, such as a hallway or smaller dining area.
Place your favourite objects on display on top of the sideboard and hide items that tend to clutter in the drawers or behind doors.
Drawers and cabinet space allow you to fit both smaller and larger items.
The two drawers make it easy to keep your belongings organised. The shelves behind the doors give you even more storage space.

The frame is easier to assemble thanks to the clever construction with wedge dowels that are conveniently pressed into the pre-drilled holes.

Thoughtless packing, poorly implemented slide together joints, failed customer service.Anonymous reviewerDamage to top, front, centre of unit in delivery. The unit's top was packed face out next to the outer skin of the cardboard box. If boxed underside facing out any damage would have been hidden when assembled. Customer services gave me a case number for replacement of top. Case not linked to my account so as far as computer concerned does not exist. Repaired top myself and assembled. The plastic lugs into pre-drilled slots method of joining sides/middle to top and base requires lugs to have been perfectly aligned when installed at the factory. They were not perfect height wise. One end did not sit exactly flush on the base. Picture in instruction step 14 is wrong. Sideboard needs to be lying on it's back to install top in way depicted. Regardless the stiction of 6 plastic lugs is so great my arm power could only get top part way on. I had to lay unit face down, stand on the ends and bounce up and down to get the top 'home'. Cabinet better then 1 star but rest of experience bad.

Vihals sideboardAnonymous reviewerThe unit itself is great for what I wanted but the handles it comes with are Lethal for young children walking around. If they tripped and fell on these they would loose their eyes. Have replaced them with knobs to be on the safe side.

Professional smart sideboardAnonymous reviewerI have no regrets buying this item, plenty storage room. The drawers are a little bit rickety on the rails but otherwise this is smart and the dark grey fits perfectly in any modern room.
Looks good, but lining up the doors evenly wasn't easy.Anonymous reviewerFirst of all the quality is good and it looks quite expensive. However, despite what other reviews say, building it wasn't straightforward. There are several doors with adjustable hinges and getting the doors to line up with even gaps on all sides wasn't easy. Ended up having to take it back to IKEA and they spent half an hour (with several of them involved) trying to line it up correctly.
PS: IKEA - please make this in black!
