  • To be completed with a slatted bed base or a mattress base.

All of our mattresses can be used immediately, but keep in mind that a packaged mattress only regains its full shape and comfort after approximately 72 hours. Your body also needs a couple of weeks to adapt to the new mattress.

Sometimes the mattress has a noticeable smell when you open the packaging. The smell isn’t harmful or toxic and disappears over time. Airing and vacuuming the mattress helps to eliminate the smell faster.

Excellent value for money. VeryVerified BuyerExcellent value for money. Very comfy.5
Nice & FirmVerified BuyerHating sprung mattresses, I finally switched over to a foam one. This one is nice and firm as I wanted it to be. Would buy again.5
MattressVerified BuyerBought for my 17 year old grandson who finds it very comfortable5
My solutionVerified BuyerThe mattress is very comfortable and firm which I was expected to be as I had some back problem with memory foam mattresses before but finally I found this one and it seems the one and I’m very happy with it!5

A firm mattressVerified BuyerPurchased for a visiting relative to sleep on as it is the one they have at home and they say it helps with a back problem - the mattress is quite firm. Not tried this one myself yet, but I have slept on my relative's and had a good night's sleep however I can cope with a firm mattress. The mattress is not as deep as a standard mattress so the bed was lower to get up from than previously - I found when a sat on it. The person who slept on it loves it.5
Fine spare room mattressVerified Buyerbought for our guest bedroom, as we didn't want to fork out for something like a Simba. Guests have said it's very comfortable.5
Excellent valueVerified BuyerRelatively easy to handle, we got a king size into our Focus. We bought the firm non-memory version. Initial impressions are good quality and very comfortable - supportive with little transfer of movement across the bed.5
Good nights sleepAnonymous reviewerIt is firmer then I expected but does give me a great nights sleep5

Worst mattress everDiggertazWe never look at reviews for Ikea products as usually their products are great, but wish we had!! This mattress is awful and nowhere near like the one we tried in store. We usually have a firm mattress but this is like sleeping on stone. I end up sleeping on the settee to get a decent nights sleep. There is no give in it what so ever. Now we have to do a 2 hour round trip to take it back. Will stick with buying local next time and go to a proper bed store. Lesson learnt!!1
If I could rate lower I would.RobynEnya96I’ve had this mattress for about a year and half and I purchased it when I moved into my first home and loved it. Very soon after it began to sink in the middle and has got increasingly worse. It’s just me using this mattress and I’m of small build and now can’t use it without ending up with back pain every night. Already looking to replace!1
You’d sleep better on a bed of nails.Louis24I purchased this mattress to support my back as I struggle with lower back pain. Quite honestly it’s had the opposite effect. After just a month the mattress had what I can only describe as a sink hole in it. And has left me with a worse back. So now ten months later I am sleeping on a thin piece of memory foam, which evidently is less comfortable than the wooden floor. I can honestly say this is the worst mattress I’ve ever had the misfortune of sleeping on.1
Horrible dips even with small frame bodyJucunciIt started out pretty good, I loved that it was quite firm. But after a month it just went downhill. It developed dips on both sides, didn't matter how we slept and anything we done. I'm so disappointed. It definitely doesn't worth anywhere near this much. It's too big to return and they could exchange it only so not good customer service either. I think they try to keep the prices down but these comprises just make the items unusable..1
Sunk!LucySouthLoved this mattress for the first 6 months but the mattress has massively sunk on one side which means I quite literally fall into it. Neither my husband or I are particularly heavy for our build so this must happen to so many people. I’d have hoped that this mattress would last us for a long time but we’re only 2 years in and already looking to replace it.1
Great for a few monthsGeorge170Similarly to a lot of the other reviews, this mattress was perfect at first but after 3 months began to dip. After almost 2 years it has become so uncomfortable that we are now looking for a new mattress as the back and shoulder pains have become too much. I'm really disappointed and wouldn't recommend this mattress to anyone1
Was wonderful at first!EmmaTina69I’ve had this mattress for around a year and a half now and I’m very sad. At first the mattress was wonderful and ever so comfy, though recently I’ve had to turn and flip the mattress every month, if not twice, something I feel I shouldn’t have to do this often! I’m waking up with terrible lower back and hip pain and I’m only 25! Something which doesn’t change even if I flip the mattress. I am starting to look for a mew mattress now, something that I hoped I wouldn’t need to do for the next 10 years!2
SunkEddie the eagleThis mattress started out fairly decently. The mattress and my opinion of it sank dramatically after the first few months. I am medium build and my partner is small yet both sides of the mattress showed signs of dipping after 3 months which after 18 months turned into full valleys! Avoid this mattress.1
Started well but now very disappointingKarlPTo begin with I slept well on this mattress however a year and a half later I'm looking for a replacement. It has a serious dip in the middle that's been there for several months now. I've been having significant lower back pain on waking, something I don't normally get. It's not expensive but false economy for me.1

Roll-packed – not just easy to take home

Most of our mattresses and all mattress pads come roll-packed. This saves space and costs less to transport, allowing us to also reduce our carbon footprint by having fewer trucks on the road. We can then pass our cost savings on to you and you can take home your new mattress much more easily. It’s a win-win situation for you and the environment.

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

"As a designer I’m inspired by patterns, so I began creating the mattresses with lots of shapes in mind. Dots, stripes and squares, combined in all sorts of ways. Suddenly I remembered the quilted winter coats of my childhood – and the pattern was born. Different squares for different sizes, and seams on the thinner mattresses that make a striped pattern. The number of seams increases along with the price and the quilted squares give extra support. I hope you’ll find a mattress to suit both your body and your wallet."
