Damaged coffee tableAnonymous reviewerUnfortunately we had two separate coffee tables deliver, original order & a replacement, both arrived damaged by DPD. Not suitable item to be delivered by a courier. Unfortunately request a refund as had no confidence that another replacement would arrive undamaged. Think it raised the point that the veneer on the table top is vulnerable to damage. Customer service very good but was in & out of stock in store, so store visit not an option when you live over an hour distance from nearest store.
Broken tableAnonymous reviewerI really liked this table, but when the table was delivered it was broken in a couple of places. I called ikea and they offered to replace it. This took a couple of days but when I received the replacement this was also broken. This is a very heavy coffee table and the delivery company (DHL) were unable to carry the table. The person bringing the table was unable to carry it he did not have the equipment to bring it on. The same thing happened when they delivered the second one. Ikea were very helpful and they offered me another replacement but I declined and was given a refund.

Worried that if it was that easy to dent in the box (and one box that was pristine but the table still had a dent) then it would dent easily in real life. Sun damaged 14 months later Anonymous reviewerI still love the look of this product and was happy with the quality until I moved a tray I’d had on top for a few months and discovered there’s a distinct circle shape where this has been! I can only think this is damage from the sun in a south facing room. Very disappointed that a piece of furniture I intended to have for a long time just hasn’t lasted.

Poor customer service Anonymous reviewerBought this coffee table and although lovely it was obvious after opening that it was far too large for our room. We packed it up and drove all the way back to IKEA within the hour to return and were told they wouldn’t refund it as we had damaged the packaging. Called customer service who suggested we sell it back to the store and were offered £60 for a brand new item that hadn’t even been assembled. Definitely check measurements before buying!

Ikea customer services do not contact reviewersAnonymous reviewerThis is the third review. Ikea write on these reviews that they will be in contact- but they don’t. I had one email from them asking for details/photos ‘we will get back to you’ - but they have not replied to any of the emails.
…all the rumours about ikea customer service are true.
Don’t buyAnonymous reviewerI bought this table and it was finished with filler. Ikea are ignoring all of my emails despite saying they would get back to me. Don’t bother buying.
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerAnother experience of buying sub standard gear from IKEA. This table has been chipped and repaired with bit of filler. Obviously could tell this till it was assembled. So now have to find time to take back to IKEA and wait in the long return queue.
Give this table a miss.
