Great find!Anonymous reviewerI discovered where my big bulb was only to find it has a screw-in thingy. I haven't erected my Ikea lampshade yet. I wasn't looking for the adapter because I'd forgotten all about it. I was browsing & I picked up this little cup thing & exclaimed to myself "Oh! An adapter! Oh, and TWO! So I had a happy find & a nice day in Ikea to boot!
What a findAnonymous reviewerI did not know you could convert bayonet to Edison fitting. This is only good for regular light bulb fittings ie 60 or 100w bulbs. You'd need to go online to find smaller converters as Ikea presently dont stock them hint hint. I was delighted to be able easily to convert all the standard overhead bulbs and some side lights. Be careful the converter add sa few millimeters to the height of the bulb and it might spoil the overall appearance on smaller light fittings/shades.as the bulb might be peaking out.
