Love it. Above dining tableVerified ReviewerVery nice focused light. Really zones our dining table well. We are really pleased with this5
GreatVerified ReviewerLook smart , good quality & easy to assemble . I have to returned too small size for my kitchen .5
PleasedVerified ReviewerGreat again Ikea.5
Looks far more expensive than it isVerified ReviewerExactly what I wanted for my new kitchen and dinning room. The cable did not have a long enough drop for the kitchen, but my electrician was able to change the fitting to extend the drop. The others in the dining room were perfect and needed no adjustments. Absolutely thrilled and intend to buy the floor lamp as well5
Verified ReviewerThis would have been ideal but for the fact that my ceiling is too low, and so the light spread was very limited.3
Nice looks, awkward to installVerified ReviewerLight looks great in the dining room, however, it does not sit flush with the ceiling due to the plastic strap thing and trying to install the screws to refix the ceiling cover on is not easy as you are trying to hold up the light and also put two small screws in holes. Would have been better if it was just the metal bracket without the plastic zip strap.3
Industrial lookingVerified ReviewerGreat ceiling lamp we are using it over our main dining table. It is a simple looking lamp and matches the floor lamp, so perfect for our ‘industrial, look in our dining room. We used some extra chain when hanging it with big polished steel ceiling hooks.5
HEKTAR Pendant lampVerified ReviewerGood lamp just the fixing of sealing wireing is not so good had to make my adpter4

What is aluminium?

After iron, aluminium is the world's most used metal and has a very wide range of uses. It’s easy to shape and lightweight, but is still strong and durable. In our range we use it for things like kitchen utensils, curtain rods and tealight cups. A big advantage with aluminium is that it can be recycled again and again without losing its quality. Recycling consumes only a fraction of the energy required to produce aluminium from new raw materials.

Designer thoughts

“When I designed HEKTAR spotlight I was so inspired by the look that I designed a few more lamps. I was inspired by old factories and wanted to bring that feeling into the home. The large lamp shades in metal are contrasted by a glossy cream-coloured lining inside. This, together with the large details, is what creates the industrial feeling. Thanks to the large shades and light lining HEKTAR gives very good light, and a lot of it.”
