"I've always been fascinated by chandeliers because they create a festive midpoint in a room. For SIRLIG I was inspired by the classic Baroque chandelier with S-shaped arms and a big ball for balance. I was also fascinated by the old handicraft tradition of making household items of wire. The biggest challenge was finding a construction that could be disassembled and fit in a flat package. The result is a chandelier with a simple - but unique - design."
