"We wanted to design a functional stool that works really well in the bathroom and other wet areas. But as we know how innovative and imaginative IKEA customers are, we wanted a stool that can be used in lots of other ways, too. So we created BURSJÖN - a stool with built-in storage. The rectangular shape makes it easy to place almost anywhere. The perforated base ensures it breathes, so damp contents won't mould. And the feet prevent any water on the floor from seeping in. But that's not still stopped some of our more ingenious customers from turning the lid upside down to use as a footbath!"
