Annoying!! Missing a knob with no help from ikeaAnonymous reviewerDecent set of drawers (2nd one we've bought), but missing one drawer handle knob. Didn't notice till the end and now IKEA won't replace it. So annoying when they are v expensive and hard to believe the knobs are out of stock when I can still buy the drawers on the website. Despite the hour on the phone and their promise to follow up, it's been weeks with no update. Spent thousands on IKEA over the years but this has made me so angry I won't buy again. £300 cost and we can't open one drawer!! Check the parts first and return if even ONE is missing as they don't care. Case number 53120615
Best IKEA Unit everAnonymous reviewerAdore this unit, super sexy and functional. It's perfect. Only trouble now is no black/brown in the last few years, been waiting and waiting but the white/grey minions will not stop
Uneven pieces. Anonymous reviewerSome missing panels and drawers not going in properly after assembling via booklet and online video. Also had damaged top but customer service offered to send a new one which helped. Struggling to fix now. and packaging is gone so stuck with it
Well made large drawers Anonymous reviewerLovely chest of drawers and drawers are lined inside which is a touch.
Lovely itemAnonymous reviewerI highly recommend it, I have a for a year now and looks like new and sturdy.
LovelyAnonymous reviewerLovely item. About to buy another for kitchen as it’s long & high enough as a worktop. I’m buying the glass protective top for it. Love IKEA 💛💙💛
Hemnes large chestAnonymous reviewerReally useful large chest of drawers. Would recommend buying a glass top.
Great qualityAnonymous reviewerReally happy looks great quality
the unit 260cm wide not 160cmAnonymous reviewersize on web site is not right it is 260cm not 160cm
Great looking chest of drawersAnonymous reviewerEasy to order. Easy delivery. I wish you offered assembly by the delivery people. Looks great when assembled. Feels bigger IRL
8 drawer assemblyAnonymous reviewerPickup was easy. Boxes packed well. Assembly instructions are a bit of a challenge and need a good study. Once this is completed the draws are very nice and function well. Some minor adjustments to draw spacing may be required… slacking and small movement and then tightening. Only a very small negative is the draws are a bit noisy on the rollers. Overall very pleased.
Study & stylishAnonymous reviewerSolid & stylish unit that goes together well.. I love a flat pack!
Disappointed after having other Hemnes productsAnonymous reviewerI bought this as I have a hemnes bathroom cabinet and bathroom storage unit which were very easy to put together, and very sturdy. This was a nightmare and doesn't feel all that sturdy either - I regret the purchase and would rather have gone to a more premium company for the price
Perfect for our needsAnonymous reviewerRobust unit, easy to assemble. Looks good, clean lines and fresh appearance brightens up the room.
Lovely sturdy chest of drawersAnonymous reviewerThese are great, brilliant they are all wood. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. I will be buying more
Lovely chestAnonymous reviewerVery strong and holds loads. This is our second one as it is so useful.
Pleased with the purchaseAnonymous reviewerGood quality chest of drawers that fits perfectly in my bedroom, along with the matching bedside tables. I like the white stain effect, however I have noticed some slightly blue tinged areas primarily on the top shelf panel (not immediately noticeable). Not suitable for first time flat pack builders, due to the instructions being slightly confusing and build is quite time consuming. Also noticed there is x1 screw hole missing in the top shelf panel which I’ve accepted, but this hasn’t affected its stability and isn’t noticeable at all. Overall pleased with my purchase, hopefully it has the same longevity as the bedside tables.
Just what I wantedAnonymous reviewerI needed deep draws, and a good table top and this chest of draws is perfect. It wasn't to hard to assemble and fits perfectly in my bedroom. I particularly love the smooth draw mechanism.
Sturdy chest of drawersAnonymous reviewereasy to construct set, just take your time and follow instructions- some items not numbered/ lettered so a bit of a head scratch at mid assembly of frame. Looks good when finished very sturdy. Stripped top back and wax finished, painted rest in farrow and ball eggshell - now looks the part!!
It is perfect and good qualityAnonymous reviewerThis wardrobe has a good looking and excellent capacity inside, it was a perfect forniture for my bedroom

What is solid wood?
Solid wood is one of our favourite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the wood species, it is durable, beautiful and renewable. We strive to use this raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste – and we also invest in facilities and logistics so that we can increase the use of recycled wood.
