Decent desk poor design, bad instructionsAnonymous reviewerDecent desk, poor design, bad instructions. The desk frame for 120cm is designed to be expandable to 130+ but the instructions for the 120x70cm version is unclear and confusing. The instruction manual doesn't clearly show how to get the horizontal frame (left, middle and right) to fit 120 cm, so a bit of measurement and trial and error to get the right fit. The instructions show desk is assembled face down and then turned up. However, if you follow the instructions the horizontal frame is flimsy and will wobble under the weight of the vertical frames. The desk is expensive for a manual hand crank desk if you compare prices online from other sellers like Desktronics. This desk has some good modular design concepts, frame can be extended lengthwise (with additional purchase of desk top) however it is quite disappointing that IKEA doesn't offer optional separately purchased accessories to motorise the desk. Verdict: Not a good value for money if you research available options online.3
Sad dayAnonymous reviewerSaying goodbye to our desk. We moved it and hardware came out and wont screw back in to secure shelving. Ikea cant replace the part at all so its probably going to landfill now. Gutted. Only 15 months old.1
UnstableAnonymous reviewerPoor stability. Cannot lean with your elbows on the desk without the whole desk wobbling. 3
Ideal Desk for My WorkAnonymous reviewerGreat quality & easy to assemble!5
Great deskAnonymous reviewerBe warned: If you're looking at the beige one, the colour of the desk top in the first photo looks nothing like the actual colour, which was disappointing.
But overall, a great desk.3
Great standing deskAnonymous reviewerFinally I've taken the plunge with a standing desk and I'm not disappointed. The storeroom desk was very wobbly so I was a little apprehensive whether this would be the same at home. Lots of good reviews so I took the plunge. It's really smartened up my office area and looks professional. The build quality seems good, assembly was easier than I expected and I ensured all the nuts were tight and the desk is sturdy as a result. The manual levitating function feels robust, it does take a 30-60 secs to wind up and down, but I don't mind that once or twice a day. Yes it's not quite as easy as the electric operated ones but I opted for mechanical based partly on cost and some reviews of electric ones stopping working. Happy with the purchase.5
Rise recline deskAnonymous reviewerBeing a taller lady, I love that I can now have my chair up high and my desk high to suit me not a standard hight. I have options to stand and sit. Being sat at a desk most the day it's made such a difference to my posture and neck ache. Very pleased 5
Stand up deskAnonymous reviewerPerfect for my needs, good quality, easy to assemble5
Adjustable height deskAnonymous reviewerReally should have bought one of these many years ago!! It's making a massive difference to how my body copes with working at a computer. Being able to adjust easily and securely to a variety of heights including standing is reducing lower back pain. 5
Fantastic Desk!Anonymous reviewerThis standing desk is brillant, assembly instuctions all made sense and the assembly was to do. The desk features a manual turn-style handle to ascend/ descend the desk. Much better than the electric variants which are prone to malfunctions.
The desk is large enough to fit all office needs, keyboards, mice, books, multiple monitors, etc. 5
Great deskAnonymous reviewerSturdy desk, easy to assemble (but I needed help at one stage, as the instructions suggest) and easy to use. The raise/lower mechanism feels reassuringly solid.
If you choose beige for the desktop, be prepared to be transported back to the 1970s! It's proper old-fashioned government beige.5
Value for moneyAnonymous reviewerGreat desk, I am glad I chose this. It was quite easy to assemble.5
Height adjustable table, good for art, craft, officeAnonymous reviewerTable can be adjusted for sitting or standing. 5
Great little table Anonymous reviewerI don't need an electric version as I tend to just let it be at the height in comfortable with.4
Wrong parts providedAnonymous reviewerWrong parts provided and terrible customer support, be weary of this if you make your purchase1
Very goodAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble and quite sturdy. 5
Quilters Anonymous reviewerExcellent sewing table. 5
An overall Trotten in the park to assemble and use. Anonymous reviewerVery good value for money and easy to put together. The instructions booklet could be made simpler regarding the positioning of the raising and lowering lever mechanism and guidance about how close to a wall the side with the winding lever can be put. I found it very sturdy and stable after putting it together by myself.5
Excellent productAnonymous reviewerReally impressed with this desk, bought as a cutting area for my sewing. Very well made and love the fact that the height is adjustable. Highly recommended.5
Missing part! Anonymous reviewerSo looking forward to build this and use. Firstly drove the distance to collect in store. 2 hour round trip. Set aside time in busy diary to assemble. Step 2 of 20, missing part, cannot proceed. Free replacement to take 7-10 days! Standing desk to improve posture due to sore back sitting. Just not good enough. FYI through inspection of packaging and area undertaken by 2 people. Part missing! Hopefully can review finished product in time, but fail for me, if it’s missing in my box it could be missing in your box. 1
