Quite good with some design issues.Anonymous reviewerThis set is basic & straight forward. They work well without doors, walls & floors not hindering their use; the plug also remembers if it was on or off if there’s a power failure. If they need to be re-connected, it’s not difficult. CONS: 1) You can pair multiple plugs to one RC but each plug only allows one RC to be directly paired with it (I believe the same applies if a motion sensor is the controller; being able to control a plug with multiple RCs around the house would be good. If a hub enables this (no info online to say it can) it’s a lot to pay for basic operation; I’m using plugs which are over 15 years old & can pair 6 RCs per plug & there’s no hub. 2) The pairing / power light & reset button are VERY small & VERY difficult to see (no image in the instructions identifying the reset button). 3) The plug is too wide. Multiples can fit side by side in a double wall socket but not an extension cable strip. There’s room for improvement without hiking a decent price.3
Works well.Anonymous reviewerI got this to switch on the dust extraction in my workshop taking the remote to whichever machine I was using. Worked out of the box and he's worked flawlessly since. Remote sticks magnetically to the machine so I don't lose it. Well priced; cheaper than unknown stuff direct from China!
I use these within my Home Assistant ZigBee network and they are well behaved. Perfection would be if they could report back the current electrical load over the ZigBee, please!5

Useful extensionAnonymous reviewerPurchased this item because I wanted to put a light switch by the back door so that when I came through the rear of my house, I was able to put the light on without having to walk through the dark to then find the light switch. This item is ideal for what I needed. Plugged it into a lamp and put the switch by the rear door, simple and easy to install.5
Great idea but why can't you buy just the plugs?! Anonymous reviewerI have lots of remotes and the digera hub as part of a smart home set up. You used to be able to buy these with just the plugs but now the only option is part of a set. So if i need ten plus then that means 10 remotes destined for landfill. Not very sustainable!3
Works exactly as expectedAnonymous reviewerThe Tretakt works very well. It works on its own with just the switch without a hub, but I am using it with the IKEA App and the Dirigera hub to enable integration with Apple HomeKit and other IKEA SmartHome products. It was easy to set up with the IKEA app and then the Tretakt appeared in Apple Home. When the smart plug is added to the IKEA App, you have to add the remote to the app separately and then get the remote to control the Tretakt again, but that extra step is a minor inconvenience.

It can be paired with Dirigera hub, SmartThings hub, Homey Pro and Philips Hue Bridge, but note that the remote control cannot then be paired directly with the smartplug and must instead be paired with the hub (not compatible with the Hue Bridge).5
Compact, Similar Size to Hue Smart Plug, Remote doesn't work with HomeKitAnonymous reviewerThe smart plug looks similar in size to my hue smart plug, has a similar response time, and a similar action button for easy on device control. It paired easily to the Dirigera hub. Unfortunately, the included Rodret remote is not exposed to HomeKit?! (you can work around this by using device state automations but it isn't ideal to say the least), (and is not exposed to Home Assistant via the sanjoyg/dirigera_platform third party integration). If Ikea intends on supporting an open smart home in the spirit of the Matter protocol, they should consider issuing a firmware update to add this feature. The response time is pretty much instantaneous which is wonderful for both the plug and the remote, on par with the Hue Dimmer Switch and Hue Smart Plug combo (and is much cheaper).4

Outstanding and Compatible with HubitatAnonymous reviewerAt this price, how do idea do it. A button and outlet for a tenner which is 100% reliable on Hubitat. I can't recommend this highly enough. It makes me wonder why the inferior Tradfri outlet which doesn't have an on/off button and comes without an external button is still £10.5
