It is estimated that every five seconds, one BILLY bookcase is sold somewhere in the world. Pretty impressive considering we launched BILLY in 1979. It’s the booklovers choice that never goes out of style.
You can give your door a personal touch by, for instance, placing photos or fabric between the glass and the panel.Adjustable hinges allow you to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.Handles and hinges included.A white/black panel to be fitted behind the glass is included.1 door will fit BILLY bookcase 40 cm and 2 doors will fit BILLY bookcase 80 cm.Can be used on the corner unit only if the shelf next to it has no doors. The door does not fit bookcases purchased in the spring of 2014 or earlier.Handle with care! A damaged edge or scratched surface can cause the glass to suddenly crack and/or break. Avoid collisions from the side - this is where the glass is most vulnerable.Designer

It"s all good, just inlay is gray-ish white with..ItlumsThe inlay of the doors (what is as a background to the glass you can use as a huge photo frame) is black from one side and white from the other. But to be fair - white side is not really white. It is a bit gray white. You can notice it sraigt away if installed an a wite shelves unit, which is not ideal. Not a deal breaker, but... Most annoying are occasional tiny-to-small dark patches on the surface of several units. Once you notice those - you'll know they are there and won't be able to un notice them. Overall I'm happy with the doors, as they are fairy easy to set up, install and adjust, it's just that inlay off-white colour...4
Looking GoodMaxie27Wanted to enclose articles in Billy unit. Looks great. Fairly easy to put up. Had a little bit of trouble with the hinges but soon sorted it out.5
Great display door for BillyKrazy4KHThese look great once on and if you are using a Billy to display things are perfect. However they were not the easiest of things to attach to the Billy and I have put a lot of flatpacks together in my time. I normally find IKEA stuff goes together so easily, so was a little disappointed that these hinges proved awkward. The finished look & price make up for this and I would buy again.4
How hard can it be to put up a door...CocoQueenieVERY! Unlike other ikea products these doors seem very complicated, I know that sounds crazy, however the drawing intrusions are not great. I brought 4 doors, one of which had to be sent back because the frame was broken. Although they should make the room look more tidy, I do feel that the quality is not great, and that the doors are expensive. The doors are heavy and if you are short you will need help, I'm still trying to fix the doors to my billy bookcase.3
