                    Very low bedAnonymous reviewerRegretted buying this bed as soon as I had it assembled, couldn't believe how low it was compared to the divan it was replacing, being quite 'aged' we both struggled to get to our feet in the mornings, another disappointment was the transfer of movement when one person turned over, something we never had with the divan. The drawers are spacious and move well on the castors though more room for your fingers or a handle would have made opening them easier1

                    AVOID!Anonymous reviewerThe bed delivered had missing parts. Essentially missing the bed sides and supporting spars underneath. after an extended call to the support line, they arranged for the missing parts to be delivered today. That timeslot has come and gone and no delivery. After another extended call I was informed the store couldn't get the parts on the delivery truck in time (nice of them to inform me, who had taken a day off work for the delivery). I'm now told I have to wait another 4 days. So that's another day in, to wait for a delivery, a daughter who has to wait another 4 days without a bed (the old bed was taken away after we received the original order) and two and half hours on the phone to the support line and counting. This company does not care. Avoid like the plague, you have been warned.1

                    Read before you buyAnonymous reviewerA decent bed but a few cons to take note of before deciding if this is the bed for you. • As others have said, the drawer combination underneath should be adapted as it's impossible to have side tables with 4 drawers. I originally wanted 4 drawers for maximum storage but had to send 2 back and replace them with the 3 drawer MALM's as bedside tables. • If you have a high humidity in your house, you will have to take the drawers out from time to time and blast the dehumidifier with the drawers fully open as if you have clothes under there they do get stuffy and can have a slightly damp feeling to them. • When first using the bed, the slats were extremely noisy. People online suggested adding things in to stop the noise (which you shouldn't need to do) but I forgot to do that and now after a few months of having the bed the noise has mostly gone away so just takes a period to settle. I would recommend it but drawers need a rethink from IKEA and was happy with the price as it was on sale3

Not so often now as I pull the bottom of the duvet back to highlight the jutting out posts. Honest opinion, don’t buy it. One day this bed frame will cause a DVT which could lead to catastrophic consequences 1

Large surround on bed makes tucking sheets under the sprung mattress difficult .(Might be easier with lighter foam mattress).Tend to knock legs on the surround when getting out of bed but it's the ideal size shelf for a mobile phone . 4

                    What is constructed board?

                    We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
