Love thisAnonymous reviewerDraws are big enough to be useful but the unit is narrow enough to fit under desk without taking up too much space. I skipped the step of the drawer stops as it looked like they would make the drawer depth too shallow - if they keep falling out I’ll go back and do this but otherwise I prefer being able to pull the drawer out fully. I also changed the drawer handles to one that fits the aesthetic of my home office better - I just bought standard 60 mm ones from Amazon5
I don't recommend thisAnonymous reviewerThe top panel arrived bent.
The top part can't be assembled properly, so I'm currently just placing it on top and using it like that. It's very inconvenient, and it comes off even with a small movement.1
Wonderful when you manage to build itAnonymous reviewerThey are wonderful when they are built. But building them was such a challenge I almost gave up. Especially bending the little tongues so that different parts are securely fit together was not really straightforward in the beginning so I really struggled. Wonder if it had to be so difficult? But they are really great with ample storage, six drawers, easy to move around with the wheels, so all in all four stars.4
Happy drawersAnonymous reviewerI love this little set of drawers so much. It's an ideal size for my home office but contains more than you'd think it could. I would happily just order more of these rather than a bigger set.5
Poor quality poor designAnonymous reviewerTab based fixing of drawers is flawed design. Handles supplied in same bag as screws without any protection - scratched and scuffed extensively. Will be returning for a refund. Cannot be easily disassembled once built.1
Better instructions and more warnings requiredAnonymous reviewerIt needs much better instructions. If you do something wrong, the scope to go backwards is very limited. I had to rely on a video on YouTube - which provided the requisite warnings!4
Excellent hobby/craft storageAnonymous reviewerConstruction being from metal panels it's a bit different to put together but so long as you make sure the tabs are locating it builds into a sturdy set of drawers. Make sure to bend the tabs at right angles! The drawers are quite deep (front to back) and the relatively shallow drawer help to keep contents visible. The only improvement I can suggest are drawer organisers for smaller items like pens and brushes.5
BrilliantAnonymous reviewerA bit fiddly to put together but it is sturdy. The drawers are deceptively spacious! I've had it for a year and no issues other than handles needing tightened once. Going to buy another for the other room.5
Brilliant perfect for my craft thingsAnonymous reviewerFairly easy to put together and useful. I bought another one because it was perfect for paint pots and brushes.5
Neat and tidy Anonymous reviewerEasy to put together, organised my things perfect. Looks neat and tidy. Happy with it. 4
Good for the moneyAnonymous reviewerAbsolute nightmare to put together and very flimsy once done.
No screws, everything held together by tabs. Cheap tho so that's something2
Good but annoyingAnonymous reviewerWas okay to put together but you gotta pay attention to the instructions. The rails constantly fall down if you loom at them wrong and then entire thing creaks so much if you breathe on it. Now looking at something to replace it. 3
DrawersAnonymous reviewerLovely set of drawers but couldn't fit top on properly and bottom drawer keeps falling a part.3
BrilliantAnonymous reviewerI'm very happy with my delivery, the item, and sturdiness.5
Cleverly designedAnonymous reviewerIf you follow the instructions carefully and make sure to fold the appropriate tabs down FULLY, this unit is quite sturdy. One review says the drawer runner fell out. If it’s assembled correctly this is impossible. I found that a light tap with a small hammer helped the runners click into place. Folding the first drawer was scary but after I discovered how easily the sides folded into position, I found I could assemble a drawer in 90 seconds - excluding handles of course.5
Great drawersAnonymous reviewerThese drawers are great, easy to put together and very sturdy. Just what l needed for my craft room. Second one l have purchased.5
Useful set of drawers on wheels.Anonymous reviewerA useful set of drawers on wheels and feel fairly solid. Could fit inside a desk or inside a cupboard.
I'm an experienced IKEA assembler - or thought I was! - but found the drawing for fixing the drawer runners unclear and had to start again when mine were clearly wrong. Once I'd got the hang I did the second one in 20 mins.....5
Easy to assembleAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble and when built very sturdy. A great looking piece for my home office and good value too. It wasn’t clear in the description that it was metal construction but no matter it still looked smart5
My kingdom for some screws (and formatting in the review box, and why can I write 999 characters on the title box but only 999 characters in the main review box? If I've got 999 characters worth of title you know I'm going to have more than 999 characters in the main body of the review. So I'd love to see formatting respected - let me break up my wall of text into paragraphs, and I'd like to see a sensible limit on the review body, say around 5000 characters. That ought to do it and would allow people to really give an honest and descriptive review of the product instead of just what they're able to cram into the space that is currently provided. Most don't get too wordy anyway, they're just reviewing to try and get free stuff. The ones that complain have their soapbox to sound off on, and the ones that love the product can really wax lyrically about how much they love it. Wow I've almost hit the limit for the title text, its come along so quickly but I think this limit is a good one)Anonymous reviewerScrews are lovely, pop them in the hole, twist, and you've got a secure attachment of one thing to another. The mind boggles why anyone would ditch them and instead use bendy flaps of metal in a small confined space. Bendy flaps do not make a secure connection.
The unit is lovely, great size, colour, I can picture it in my space. I'll never see it there as I gave up building one of three I purchased. This popped my cherry - first time I've ever not assembled an IKEA product to completion. The world looks different now.
It was clear after I bent the tabs into place and started on the wheels that this unit wasn't going to last. It was wobbling all over the place like it had consumed 10 pints of lager.
Screws. Lovely things. Swapping the flaps for screws would give us a nice sturdy cabinet and a 5 star review. Sadly the ones I bought will be going back to the store today. YMMV.
As someone else said, glue might help, but be prepared for a wobbly experience ending in disappointment.2
very useful little cabinetAnonymous revieweruseful 6 drawer cabinet, I now have 4 of them. 2 I use under my modelling bench for tools, test meter, computer cables and the like. Easy to put together, 4
