        This floor uplighter/reading lamp gives you a pleasant light upwards and out around an entire room – and directed light for reading. Both are easy to turn on and off with the switch at the lampshade’s top.

        Warning: Cannot be disassembled!Anonymous reviewerI tried to return this via parcel, but it exceeds the size limits once built. IKEA wants £25 to collect it, the same price as the lamp! Now I have to drive to the store myself (who knows how, maybe with half of the lamp hanging out of the side of the window or maybe renting a van so it can fit inside) because it doesn't come apart... especially after I paid for its delivery. So make sure you don't fully assemble it (or tighten it or lock it) before you decide to keep it.2

I love the way the cables are hidden, and the design of the shade. A couple of metal parts were a tiny bit scratched and as others have said. You need to stand up to switch on. Not a massive deal but for £25 should be addressed. Other places are quite a bit cheaper for these type of lamps.4
