Puddle of water on floorAnonymous reviewerThe hob itself is brilliant however the extractor fan is dreadful. It left a puddle of water on the floor. We had to put a towel down to prevent slipping. Would not recommend. We ended up replacing the product.
Water on floorAnonymous reviewerThe hob is great but the floor is soaking wet when the extractor is on. Any ideas welcome, currently have to put a towel on the floor when using the hob.
really impressed Anonymous reviewerI'm really impressed with this product. We have no issues with water on the floor. The fan itself is very powerful and works much better than anticipated. The machine itself is quick to heat up, with water boiling rapidly. We are used to a gas hob, so the speed of this takes some getting used to, but i think it's great. Easy to clean, looks the part. So pleased we purchased it!
warning - while you can get downdraft hobs cheaper elsewhere, IKEA plints are not standard size, so this will be the only one you can use with their kitchen if you're looking to recirculate into the space
I wouldn't purchase this hobAnonymous reviewerThe hob worked fine for the first 6 months, then broke down. It has been an absolute pain to get ikea to fix it. It's been 3 months now with no working hob because ikea doesn't actually manufacture it and has to go through a third party. I would just purchase directly from the manufacturer in the future

1st Few UsesAnonymous reviewerLooks great, heat works well. However i'm not so sure about the amount of moister pumped onto my kitchen floor from the vent is a good thing! More like an accident waiting to happen with the amount of standing water left on the floor
