Product details

A simple unit can be enough storage for a limited space or the foundation for a larger storage solution if your needs change.

You can choose to place the cabinet on the floor or mount it on the wall to free up floor space.

Assembly is quick and easy, thanks to the wedge dowel that clicks into the pre-drilled holes.

Eket CubeVerified BuyerBought three, very happy with my purchase.5
Great little boxes with soVerified BuyerGreat little boxes with so many uses5
dissapointingVerified BuyerI was really disappointed that the way to build this has become really difficult, I broke one of the pieces that hooks inside and on the other one its not flush so doesnt look neat, ive never had any trouble before buying this product.1
Nice productVerified BuyerThey are a bit fiddly to assemble but once assembled it looks good and can be used in different ways depending on one’s choice. I’m happy with it4
Good quality, tricky to assembleVerified BuyerBought this cube to use as mini bookshelf/table in my small reading corner. As others have noted, it takes a bit of force to snap the sides together and I ended up having to use a hammer which left some marks. Thankfully with it being a square, I’ve put that side as the one resting on the floor so not visible but worth bearing in mind if it’s going to be wall mounted.4
Very well designed so youVerified BuyerVery well designed so you don't see any fixings. Very elegant5
Good size for a cabinet.Verified BuyerThis is just what I’m looking for. You can hang it on the wall or it can stand on its own whichever you prefer. Bought it on the sale too, which is a bonus. Good value for money!5
Just what we needed.Verified BuyerJust what we needed.5
Nice space-saving stuff.Verified BuyerNice space-saving stuff.5
Hard to put togetherVerified BuyerLooks great when completed, but very difficult to put together. Have made up loads of IKEA products and would almost call myself an expert, these are the hardest I have come across. Odd for such a simple item.3
Bits missingVerified BuyerBits missing and despite repeated attempts to contact customer service no joy. So useless cabinets sat here until I can make the drive back to store.1
The IKEA unit that broke meFay PaisleyV hard to build. I bought 3 and I managed to break the plastic grey projections on 2 of them and used wood screws to complete job. Vowing my future will be ready assembled.1
Lovely shelf.DuchieLovely shelf for daughters bedroom, goes very well with another one the same.5
Stay awayReviewer10853Hard to build, broke one completely, had to take one side of the fixers off and use glue as would not fit. Dont buy, please it was a throw away of £241
KevindorchLack of wall brackets a problem, when I purchased I had the impression they were included from reading the website. Quite a lot of force needed to assemble which led to plastic dowel breaking. I did attempt to give greater detail but apparently I used “inappropriate language”.???3
Shame about the fixingsGareth PLove the way you are thinking about assembly without tools however for the main part you still need a drill to affix to the wall and so not quite sure what you are saving. Fair bit of force required to push the final piece together and not surprised that others are finding it difficult. The primary problem is lack of adequate sign posting that extra brackets are required. I bought from a store and didn’t see any information to suggest that a wall cabinet wouldn’t come with brackets to affix to the wall!! Back to IKEA to purchase - a simple job turns into an afternoon wasted - incredibly frustrating. Also, on my iPhone11 I now can’t scroll up to see the beginning of my review!3
They break when assemblingsaragal13Very hard to assemble. You need to apply an enormous amount of force for the wee bits to slot in the holes and leave the different slabs flush. I was left with the back of my hands red and pretty sore after assembly to the point I had to stop. I'm a woman, but young and reasonably fit, so I don't think it should be this hard to assemble for me. I bought 5 of these and the wee bits broke in two occasions. I've managed to assemble them but I'm not sure they're fit for purpose, I'd be wary to put too much weight on them. I've seen other people complain about them breaking on the reviews, so I'd dare to say it's not a one-off mistake on my part. Pretty disappointed.2
Overpriced without fittingsjackie2727272727272727272Overpriced without fittings, £5 for a bit of metal that should be less than a couple of £. Designing a wall with these attached ends up being really unreasonably priced3
Cabinet1juneA bit dissapointed 3 sides fit together but when you put the final side in it doesnt fit together properly and there is a gap making it wobbly have tried all different way to try & close the gap but to no avail a shame because I really like it was planning on getting two more but now need to re think2
Lack of fixings/instructionsJanexxxI bought 5 eket cubes for my son's bedroom. When we started putting them together we then found we didn't have the wall fixings, it was not clear these had to be purchased separately!! So another trip to IKEA (50 mile round trip!) To get the fixings which at £5 a pack added another £25 to my purchase, starting to get expensive. So read the instructions for the fixings ... And guess what no screws or wall plugs for fitting to the wall. Really!! I think the pack should include the right tools for fixing to the wall. So another trip to a local DIY store to pick screws and wall plugs to get the job done. And now I find I need a template that was included with the eket cubes which because I had to get things separately was thrown out with the packaging!!! Not a good buy and very frustrating.1
