Looks great on the dinnerVerified BuyerLooks great on the dinner table. Well pleased. Would recommend. Good valve for money5
Stylish dishes but take care.Braw SvenGot tired of the white dinner set We’ve had for a few years and saw these. A bit smaller but that’s great if you’re on a diet as your plate and bowl Make it look as if you’ve got a bigger portion. Slight downside is they chip more easily and the bowls don’t fit into the dishwasher because of their design.4
Scratchy noiseEmwollThis is a great looking, modern, value for money set, but unfortunately after using for the first time we noticed how terribly scratchy the surface is whilst using cutlery on it, ended up taking back after a month as couldn’t stand the noise.2
Good for every day useLiz1280Good value, nice pale grey colour. Easy to replace.5

Great starter packNot suitable for all hobsLovely modern style great for new home makers. Would benefit from extra pieces to build on a collection5
Dinner SetLD09It's a dinner set, so it is what it is; 6 x dishes, 6 x side plates, 6 x dinner plates. Stack well in the cupboard.5
Handy dinner set all bundled togetherJanewbaThis set is great value and easy to add to if you want. Colour goes with many things.5
Pretty much perfectFingers FinnucaneThese are just what we wanted. The off-white looks good and I think the Matt surface will be longer- lasting that the varnished finish.5
Great dinner setNats174Good value for money ,Quality dinner set.5
really good productfiermanexcellent quality puts other more expensive brands to shame, replaces a dinner set we purchased only a few years ago from a major high st retailer!4
Very disappointingFamilygalThis set looks good but is poorly designed which I find disappointing considering Ikea's rigorous testing. Food slides straight off the plates. The shiney surface surface makes these dishes very difficult to use.1
:DGuttVickeyNice set, probably I will buy another one :)5

Material

What is ceramic?

Ceramic is a heat-resistant and durable material that has been used by humans to make practical objects for thousands of years. The base material is different types of clay that are oven-burned and become things like terracotta, stoneware, pottery and porcelain. At IKEA we mainly use ceramic for plant pots, porcelain, washbasins and kitchen sinks. Since it can be shaped and even glazed to the desired colour and shine, the possibilities of styles and looks are endless.
