Sadly quality of the Hemnes line has gone downAnonymous reviewerI got this little chest of drawers to match my old but in excellent condition original Hemnes 3-drawer chest of drawers( relocated multiple times and even disassembled and reassembled). Unfortunately I can notice a considerable decline in the quality of the parts despite this item being on the higher price range. Construction took probably 5 times longer than expected - it is all the little misalignment in cuts and holes that took a lot of adjustment to get the item to look like a rectangle and have all fit in properly. Also the material is needing a little more sanding and polish, the wood is very soft yet unevenness can be felt.

Good quality with lovely deep drawers and there is a little mobile shelf for one of the drawers for bit and pieces. I am very pleased with my purchases. My husband said the instruction drawings could have been a bit clearer and were too basic. Nevertheless I am thrilled with the finished products!

The white paint coverage is good, in fact better than the previous matching taller drawer unit I bought years ago. They took quite a while for two of us to put together - I suppose it depends on how much DIY you are used to. I have changed the handles to cream ceramic ones which match my decor. Very pleased with my purchase.
