It's okAnonymous reviewerLost 2 stars due to a couple of scratches and chips, also being very dusty. Possibly a return. One part of the instructions was confusing so I ended up making it twice (shaded in piece at the start is the bare wood piece not the black one!).

Took about an hour to put together. Shame the glass tops are no longer sold. Very impressed by my new bedside cabinets

Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI have had many items of furniture over the years from Ikea which have been quality items.I have to say the quality has gone downhill.The fittings are poor quality and the materials the drawers are made out of is even poorer.I won’t be purchasing any furniture from ikea in the future.

I was disappointed..Anonymous reviewerSo I have bought so much furniture from ikea over the years & have always raved over how good the quality is & easy to put together & recently where I moved home I have also just spent close to £2000 in ikea alone, so when I was putting together the small two draw unit to go under my malm dressing table, & the side pieces of this unit on the corners all had small damage marks where you can clearly see them I was disappointed, don’t get me wrong when I bought their pax wardrobe recently & 2 of the pieces were really damaged I phoned them up & they were brilliant but with this unit I felt it would of been too much bother phoning & getting new side pieces as I just wanted to get my room sorted & luckily the unit is under the desk so it’s only me that knows about it, but I just feel that maybe they should be doing better quality checks before sending out some of the furniture because it still cost me £49 plus delivery.

What is veneer?
