How are the custom worktops and wall panels custom packed?

Our custom made wood and laminate products are packed in a sturdy cardboard box with extra transport protection. Custom made quartz composite works are delivered in a wooden box.

Laminate and solid wood
Custom worktops and wall panels made of laminate and (solid) wood are packed in cardboard. The corners are extra protected. On some cases, additional wooden beams are screwed to the underside of the worktop to provide extra protection during transport for a long or delicate worktop. Finally, a transparent foil is wrapped around the worktop or wall panel.

Quartz composite
Custom worktops and wall panels made of quartz composite are supplied in a wooden case. The case is partially open, so you can check your purchase upon delivery. Factory glued sinks are additionally supported with wooden beams and an extra protective layer of cardboard. Finally, a transparent foil is wrapped around the worktop or wall panel.

Please note: the wooden beams on the outer edges at the bottom of the worktop should not be removed. These are important to guarantee the strength of the worktop. The beams that run from the front of the worktop to the back can be moved if necessary for mounting on the base units of your kitchen.
