How do I connect the water and drain hose from an IKEA dishwasher?
Follow the instructions in the installation manual carefully. Do you need more help? Then read the instructions below.
-
Connect the water hose to cold water or warm water up to a maximum of 60 ºC. Connection to a hot fill facility (with a maximum temperature of 65 °) is also possible with a dishwasher. The water hose can be hidden behind the device.
-
Connect the dishwasher drain hose to the sink siphon; do not forget to remove the cap in the siphon.
The hose can also be connected to an existing drain. The drain hose is approximately 1,5 meters long. The standard diameter of a drainpipe in Dutch kitchens is 40 or 50 mm. -
Remember the minimum height of the pipe to which you connect the hose. This size (measured from the ground) can be found in the installation manual and is the same height as indicated when connecting to an IKEA siphon.
