Does my IKEA extractor hood come with a flexible pipe or carbon filter?
IKEA hoods are supplied without a flexible pipe or carbon filter. These items are available separately.
IKEA extractor hoods can be mounted in two ways: with a flexible pipe connected to ductwork for outdoor venting or with a carbon filter for recirculation of air.
Do you want your extractor hood to discharge the air outside? Then you also need a NYTTIG TUB flexible pipe with your extractor hood. If there is no exhaust to the outside in your home or if you want the air back into the kitchen space, then you need a NYTTIG carbon filter.
