Great value ergonomic office chairrayray086Wanted an ergonomic chair and when googling some potential candidates, it was actually the Markus that was rated highly, however I noticed the Jarvfjallet was available and research said it was an updated model of the Markus, so I went ahead and ordered the Jarvfjallet in fabric with the arm rests. Took a month due to not being available (must be the WFH advice during the pandemic). Assembly was easy. Super comfortable with the amount of adjustability not usually seen at this price point. Really enjoying the chair, however I'm still getting used to the seat depth (quite short, but it's good in that it forces me to sit properly with my whole back against the back rest). I'm 5'9 and when sitting properly, it's very comfortable. Also getting used to the brake locking wheels that come with the chair. I use it at home so I don't really need this feature. Seat isn't contoured and is quite flat; also, could use some more padding. And finally the arm rests - they seem to be an afterthought seeing as the chair can be bought without them, and it shows. No adjustment for them, and for my body, they sit a bit too high. I'm debating on adding some washers and using longer bolts for them so they sit lower on the chair. All in all, price is hard to beat and it's a very comfortable chair with some slight shortcomings, but this will depend mostly on your body type. Would recommend trying it out in store first before buying.5
