Not your average angle-poise lampDavidI love Hektar (not least for the name) - but it has generous proportion with out being clunky. The army drab colour highlights the soft gentle glow from the bulb. Hektar creates gentle mood in a minute.5
Very sensitive charging padSorenI ended up just plugging my phone into the USB on the back of the lamps base instead of fiddling around trying to get it to align with the charging pad. It's very unreliable and on multiple occasions it would "connect" but not actually charge. Using a pixel 7 phone. Also the light switch is on the top of the head so unless you use one hand to brace the lamp and one hand to press the switch, you will just collapse the whole lamp at the elbow, since the pressure required to depress the button is greater than the pressure required to adjust the arm. Looks really good but functionally terrible design.3

Not perfect but the phone charger is amazing!AnnetteMy complaint is when you try and tighten the screws the paint will come off unless you put something over the end of the screw driver. If they had of put little knobs to tighten the arm it would have got 4 stars. The button to turn on and off is a bit awkward where it is placed. Would be so much better if it was a touch lamp. Other than that they do look amazing on my bedside tables (which are very large so needed something big in a lamp) I think they would also match any decor. All in all I am quite happy with them. Gave them 3 stars as I took a star off for having to use a screw driver to tighten the arms and another star off for where the on/off button is placed.3

A good bed lightSandorI brought this light to have easier time to charge my new I phone, the problem I have with this charger is it has a hard time picking up the phone and at the end of the night I will spend a few minutes passing the phone around to get it to pick it up. The light it self is good and I have no problems with it.4

“When I designed HEKTAR spotlight I was so inspired by the look that I designed a few more lamps. I was inspired by old factories and wanted to bring that feeling into the home. The large lamp shades in metal are contrasted by a glossy cream-coloured lining inside. This, together with the large details, is what creates the industrial feeling. Thanks to the large shades and light lining HEKTAR gives very good light, and a lot of it.”
