Great sink, if you're after this designRichardWife wanted this design. It's half the price of alternative brands. Does its job, not sure why some are rating it 2 stars. Sure, it doesn't have the bounce a metal basin does. Anything I've dropped, has a much higher change of it breaking. It's the compromise for the aesthetics that you want I guess. Hapy with it, cleans up well, hasn't stained etc etc.5
Abysmal Failure of a productSamThis sink is one of the worst designed products I have ever encountered. It was newly installed in the house when I bought it 6 months ago. Within days the following issues had become apparent:
1) The front face of the sink is sloped toward you, like it was designed to intentionally splosh as much water out as possible.
2) Ceramic is an abysmal material for a sink. It is a LOT harder on plates and cups than you would expect, I'm a bit clumsy and would break a glass or plate once every 3-4 months in a stainless steel sink. This became a weekly occurance with the ceramic. And it suffs and scratcches constantly. And then a le creuset slipped out of my hands while washing and smashed the entire bottom out of the sink. Ruined.
3) The faucet is not part of the basin, so you get a lot of water dripping around the faucet and back rim of the sink as you turn the water on/off while doing the dishes.
Seriously, was this designed by AI?

Farmhouse sinkSarahI love the look of this sink. One thing is there is a bit of splashing from my tap which is high. It is only a small thing and doesn’t change my love of the sink

Regrettable PurchaseAthenaThe sink looked gorgeous when first installed but it didn't take long for permanent marks to appear. Does not withstand normal washing up. I now have what used to be a white sink covered with grey marks. It is not meant to be used as a kitchen sink to wash dishes in. I should have bought the stainless steel version when it was available. Do not recommend this sink. Very disappointing.1
Instructions need a reviewAndrewA good quality product, but the manual is significantly lacking. Unfortunately, the instructions assume the sink will never be installed in an island. Measurements certainly don't work with new metod island accessory kit. I loved the $549 IKEA benchtop until I cut it using the measurements in the installation booklet. Very disappointed.1
Pow powWandaLove my new sink. It completed the look I was wanting.5

Not fit for purposeAnonymous reviewerThis sink has been installed for 4 weeks. It isn't even been used to wash dishes as we have a dishwasher but it has crack in it already. It really isn't robust enough as a kitchen sink. It isn'tt the kind the standard I have experienced from IKEA in the past.1
Looks great but not fit for purposeAnonymous reviewerWe bought it as part of our IKEA kitchen. The first one that was delivered had several silver marks all over it and after a lengthy process it was replaced. The second one was been in place for 4 months when a crack appeared. Nothing had been dropped in it, it had only ever been used for normal washing up activitiies, so I would not consider this to be good quality. A sink should be able to cope with the weight of dishes without cracking. . A replacement/refund was refused as the customer care department did not consider a hairline crack to be a quality issue.1
