Good roomy bagMarianneWe have bought a number of these bags over the years. They are light, fold down small, and hold large items like boxes from IKEA, blankets & throw rugs for a laundry visit etc. Unfortunately they don't stand up easily for you to pack on your own which I find frustrating. We still really like the Frakta.
Big blueCarolynThe bag seemed strong enough however for my purchases found it too wobly, like a rocking boat. Hard to carry. I think it is too long a boat.

I love the large size because it can fit groceries, clothes, household items and other bulky things easily. The handles are comfortable to carry and the material feels durable. It folds away easily when not in use, so it is also convenient to store. Great value for money and definitely a useful bag to have at home.

Technically, IKEA calls it a bag. This dramatically understates its capabilities.
I have transported groceries, laundry, plants, shoes, firewood, cushions, approximately half a house and, on one memorable occasion, items I am fairly certain required a building permit.
It is enormous. It is indestructible. It fears neither rain nor stairs nor the wildly optimistic person who thinks, “I can get all of this to the car in one trip.”
Fashion-wise, the electric blue is uncompromising. You are not carrying a FRÄKTA discreetly. You are announcing to the world: I have been to IKEA. I survived. There may be meatballs in here.
Mine has been stuffed into cupboards, left outside, dragged across concrete and generally treated with a level of disrespect that would destroy lesser bags.
Still she rises.
Five stars.
Frankly, if IKEA made parachutes out of FRÄKTA, I’d jump.
Frakta Carrier BagPamI love these carrier bags. They're so strong I use them them for multiple uses, towels and extra clothes to the beach, washing to the laundromat for drying, storing grandees toy storage. The list is endless and They're ssooo strong!!! LOVE THEM!!

Great bagGigiThe Frakta bag is an IKEA staple; reliable and user friendly. I have several of these bags, and I sometimes remember to take one with me to IKEA. If I forget to take it with me, I just buy a new one. They’re cheap, and make it easy to transport everything from the store to the car.
