Product details

Handmade by experienced craftspeople, which makes each armchair unique.

Rattan is a natural material which ages beautifully and develops its own unique character over time.

The armchair is lightweight and easy to move if you want to clean the floor or rearrange the furniture.

Plastic feet protect your floor against scratching.

The cushion can be turned over and therefore has two sides for even wear.

The cushion cover is easy to keep clean since it’s removable and can be machine washed.

I have a new leatherBoyneI have a new leather 3 seater lounge and did not want everything too matching. So I purchased 2 Buskbo chairs to go with my lounge and they look perfect. They are good quality and I would highly recommend them.5

The colouring is not as shown.MaryThe chair I received was nearly clear in colour/shade. It does not look rattan. I have used a tint and varnish over it as it was too light.2
Great ProductSusanWell packaged. Looks great. Very comfortable with the additon of a back cushion.5
Came chairsEvelynThese chairs are very comfortable. The cane is raw and a little rough. The cushions are comfy and I added a small rectangular one for the back. I’m very happy with them. I had them delivered which was great.5
Love the look of thisWendyLove the look of this chair, however even with the cushion it is very hard to sit on, all you can feel is the hard cane underneath. I will be returning this product to IKEA when they open again3
Aesthetically pleasingGemmaThis chair looks lovely. My only complaint is there is a few spiky bits on the arms of the chair. I'm going to try a very light sandpaper to remove and smooth them out. It is a little lower than I expected so try out in store if you can.4

Material

What is rattan?

Rattan is a strong yet lightweight and flexible material made from the rattan plant’s stem. It can be used both whole and split into thinner materials that are braided into things like furniture and baskets. Rattan belongs to the palm family and climbs along trees, though no trees are required to be felled when the rattan cane is harvested. Since it is a natural material and the products are often handmade by skilled craftspeople, each object gets a completely unique look.
