The lamp almost looks like it floats with its airy and light, yet also generous shape. With a clear light bulb, it casts shadow patterns on the walls – but is just as decorative even when switched off.

a Nice Hobby project to put together...but take your timePieterMe and my wife decided to use this in our Living room. It is a nice theme with the shadows of the ''flowers'' on the walls and table. Only challange was to discuver some of the ''flowers'' had to be ''clicked'' into place as the connection slots did not always line up. this meant we had to move some ''flowers'' around until they fit - maybe a manufacturing problem, but it felt like building a puzzle, and because the instructions was well thought, it was a nice experience.4

Material

What is PE plastic?

PE, or polyethylene, is a versatile plastic with many uses. It can be soft and flexible as well as tough and strong. At IKEA we use PE for things like plastic bags, freezer bags, ice packs and chopping boards. A big reason why we like this plastic is that it can be made from renewable raw materials like corn and sugar cane.
