The perfect jungle children's room

The DJUNGELSKOG collection has been specially designed for children aged between 3 and 7, featuring cheerful colours, a great lion lamp, a play rug and the coolest bath towel ever.

The URSKOG collection, which was created for kids from 8 to 12 years of age, has a more subtle colour palette, plus a tiger you cannot ignore, a zebra print for the walls and a lion for the bathroom. Cool, right?

Learn, play & sleep with DJUNGELSKOG

How great would it be to teach your child about endangered animals through play? There are lots of ways to do this. One way to get started:

  • Act out bedtime stories with soft toys to bring a book to life. Using visual storytelling and voices will help even the smallest children remember the message. This kind of approach also helps make a complicated subject like endangered species much easier to talk about.
  • And an indoor jungle — well, a little one — helps ensure that a child feels more connected with nature. Add jungle-themed curtains and bed linen, but also let your child make decorations that you can hang on the wall.
  • Let the kids behave like jungle animals. Yes, you read that right: Role-playing games are more educational than you might think! Large soft toys and cool hooded bath towels are a great place to start.

URSKOG collection: Tough and sustainable

The animal kingdom is central to both collections — but that's not the only thing that makes them special. The collection is manufactured using production techniques and materials that are not harmful to children or to the environment. All of the cotton is guaranteed to come from sustainable sources. And we also used a printing technique that requires one less rinsing stage, which reduces water consumption by about 30 litres per duvet cover set.

A zoo at home

Now all you need to do is decide which animals you'll pick for your child's room. What will it be a zebra (print) on the bed or a lion guarding the room? And what about the floor: jungle foliage or more zebra stripes? Creating your own jungle has never been so much fun! If you prefer to keep things looking a little more local, opt for a woodland theme in your children's room instead.
