Nu heb ik bij het sluiten van de beugel steeds het gevoel alsof ze van elkaar af gaan glijden. De sticker die bij de aankoop erop zit gaat er ook erg lastig vanaf en laat veel resten achter.2

Preserving food and all its flavour

KORKEN jars are ideal for preserving jams, pickles or other home-made treats. The aroma-tight seal helps to lock in flavour. And since the jars are made of glass, you can easily see what’s inside, increasing the chance food gets eaten and not thrown away.

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
