Best spatula I've boughtMeganI have 2 other spatulas made of plastic (another from IKEA) and they have all melted in some part or other from the hot pan. THIS one, has a metal bit right where the pan comes in contact, and the plastic is made of excellent quality. It's a little heavier, but it is my absolute favourite to cook with.5

Quality

All our utensils can take the heat

Most of our plastic spatulas, whisks and ladles can take temperatures up to at least 220°C (428°F), which is higher than most normal cooking temperatures. So you can leave your plastic utensils in the frying pan for a while without worrying. If you have pans with a non-stick finish, we recommend you use plastic or wooden utensils. They're softer than metal and gentler on the inside of the pan.
