What delivery options does IKEA offer?
IKEA offers Truck Delivery, Parcel Delivery, and Click & Collect. Truck Delivery includes "Ground Floor" and 'Floor and room of choice' options. Parcel Delivery is ideal for smaller items through parcel packages and Click & Collect allows you to pick up your order from an IKEA store or pickup point near you.
- Ground floor delivery: Your items are delivered over the threshold of the front door on the ground floor of your home or building. From that moment on, you carry your order inside yourself. Depending on the size and weight of your order, it will be delivered by one or two people.
- Floor and room of choice Delivery: This service is ideal if you live in an apartment complex on the 1st floor or higher. A staircase with 7 or more steps counts as one floor. This is also ideal when you need help with carrying the products inside a specific room in a multi-storey house. Depending on the total weight of the items, a minimum of €14.99 is added on top of the ground floor delivery rate.
- Click & Collect at store: This is ideal if you want to collect items without a minimum order value and quantity. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an email with instructions on how and where to collect your order. Be ready with the order number and proof of purchase to share with the co-workers at the store. If you have arranged for someone else to collect the order on your behalf, they will need to know the order number and purchase details. In the event where you are unable to collect your order, it will be held for 24 hours from the scheduled pick-up date.
- Click & Collect at a pickup point: For smaller orders it is possible to collect your order at a PostNL or DHL pickup point of your choice with a minimum order value of €15. For larger orders, it is possible to pick them up at warehouse location in Almere or Alphen aan den Rijn.

With Click & Collect, you place your order online and then pick up your items at an IKEA store or an external pickup point. This delivery option is ideal if you want to avoid truck delivery fees or if you’d like to pick up your order without having to go in the IKEA store and collect the items yourself. This may be particularly useful if you are close to an IKEA store or if a secure delivery to your home is not possible in your area.

If your delivery is going to a higher floor than ground level (i.e. an apartment or building), sufficient access via stairs or an elevator is required. Deliveries through staircase are limited up to and including the 4th floor unless an elevator is available. While most IKEA products can be delivered, some fragile or oversized items may have restrictions.
