What communication can I expect regarding my delivery?
We often communicate a time slot via SMS or email the day before delivery. How we do this for your order depends on the type of delivery you selected.
Check your order confirmation to see which type of delivery you selected.
Has your order been split? Then you will receive two separate deliveries, for example a truck delivery and a parcel delivery.
Parcel Delivery
Once your parcel has been handed over to the delivery service, you will receive an email with a link to our Track & Trace page. You can also track your order by entering your order number in the IKEA order tracking environment.
Truck Delivery
On the day before delivery or on the day of delivery itself, you will receive a message with a link to our Track & Trace page.
Want to know exactly when to expect your order? Click on “Find more information about your order at the transport partner” in the Track & Trace page. There you’ll find a smaller time window and more details about the delivery.
On the day of delivery, you will receive a text message* or a phone call when the driver is approximately half an hour to an hour away.
*Only when you have entered a mobile phone number.
